End User License Agreement
End User License Agreement (EULA) for Baobab App

PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (“AGREEMENT”) CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING OR USING THE BAOBAB MOBILE APPLICATION (“APP”). BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP, YOU (“USER”) AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE APP.
1. License Grant
Baobab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms of this Agreement. This license does not give you any ownership or proprietary rights in the App.
2. Ownership
The App, including all intellectual property rights in it, is and shall remain the exclusive property of Baobab or its licensors. You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to discover its source code or underlying technology.
3. User Responsibilities
- Account Information: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including login credentials, and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Prohibited Activities: You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that may harm others, including submitting false reports, promoting violence, or engaging in harassment.
4. Privacy and Data Usage
Baobab is committed to protecting your privacy. The App collects and uses data related to conflicts and crimes that you report anonymously, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal data will never be used for tracking or shared with third parties without your explicit consent. The reported data will be used solely for conflict tracking and resolution.
5. Updates and Modifications
Baobab may provide updates, patches, or modifications to the App at its discretion to improve performance, security, or functionality. You agree to accept these updates as part of your use of the App. Baobab reserves the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
6. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Baobab may terminate your access to the App at any time without notice if you violate the terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete any copies of the App in your possession.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Baobab does not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. You use the App at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Baobab or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App. Baobab’s total liability to you for any damages will not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country], without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert Location] for any disputes arising under this Agreement.
10. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Baobab regarding the use of the App and supersedes any prior agreements.
